Website Admin Volunteer Description

The situation in Los Angeles county is dire, with over 1,100 gangs, a staggering 40% high school drop-out rate and more than 35% of children living at or below the poverty level. Furthering the dilemma: schools are often overcrowded, understaffed and in need of support and enrichment programs.

We partner with Title 1 schools, shelters, family support agencies and other non-profits to reach about 700 children each year.  We have operated as a volunteer-run organization over 12 years and people like you make it possible for us to do much more than we otherwise could, toward our mission of helping at-risk kids lead better lives. We invite you to join our cause.

Website Admin: We recently re-launched our website and seek the help of a website savvy individual who can help maintain/update the site and help with future enhancements to make the site more user-friendly and compelling. 

Supervision: Ongoing supervision will be provided by P.S. I Love You Foundation's VP of Operations and Director of Marketing.

Number of Openings: One 

Hourly Requirements:  Will vary; max of 2 hours/week; 1 year minimum time commitment is ideal.  

Skill Requirements:

• Experience in updating websites
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, innovative, tech savvy
• Enthusiasm and an outgoing, friendly demeanor. Sense of humor essential!!
• Ability to work independently as well as with other team members
• Attention to detail
• Prefer South Bay resident
